Art & Crafts
A different Art and Craft Activity is available each week, often tied into significant dates and events in the calendar such as Valentines Day, Chinese New Year, Easter and Grandparent's Day. All the materials used are non-toxic and washable!(Aprons are available, however we suggest you don't bring your child in their best clothes!) We also often have tasting sessions to tempt your child's taste buds, linked to special dates for example pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and noodles at Chinese New Year. Don't forget to let me know if your child has an allergy to certain foods.
Playdoh Recipe: 2 Cups of plain flour 2 Cups of water 1 Cup of salt 2 Teaspoons of Creme of Tartar Food Colouring 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable oil Method: Mix all the ingredients together in a non stick pan and cook over a medium heat for approx three minutes stirring all the time until a dough is formed. Remove from the heat and knead until pliable. Keep in the fridge in an airtight container or plastic bag(will keep for 3 months)
Tempest Photography 
"A 1st class nationwide portrait service for the under fives." Twice yearly, a specialist photographer experienced in this age range comes to the session to take individual, family or group photographs.
Next sessions are on 4th and 9th November 2010 at toddlers (you are welcome to come along from Brunton Babies aswell if you would like to) See the information on packages available and pricing on the notice board nearer the time. All their photographers are permanent employees of the company and all photographs are manufactured in their own specialised laboratory.
Usually delivered within 2 weeks. Extra sessions are available should demand allow. You can pay by cash, cheque or credit card to make life easier! The photographs are of excellent quality and are very good value for money. The pictures are now digital so you can see the image before you order a pack. There is a good choice of print sizes and presentations for you to choose from.
Nights Out We arrange social events on a regular basis. This usually involves a few drinks and a bite to eat, normally somewhere local.
If you just fancy letting your hair down, feel free to suggest an extra night -I'm sure we can fit another one or two in!

Adults Christmas night out 2010 will be on Thursday 9th December.
Parties We also have special events during the year , such as Hallowen parties and Christmas parties. They usually comprise of bouncy castles,inflatables ,party food,fancy dress, raffles, art and crafts, and visits from Santa!!
 Halloween parties 2010 will be on Tuesday 26th October and Thursday 28th October (Ticket only event) Childrens Christmas parties 2010 will be on Tuesday 14th December and Thursday 16th December. (Ticket only event) More info nearer the time.
Visitors. We also have various companies visit us during the year such as The Book people, Usbourne Books, Pheonix Trading cards and gifts and Smallprint silver jewellery to name a few. So look out for their brilliant money saving deals.
